The team has grown, so we wanted to take a moment to properly show you who the team behind HOUSE OF AMITY actually is.

We are a collective of curious minds who share a deep interest in psychology and mental health as well as a desire to disrupt and innovate preventative mental health care.

During my bachelor thesis, I first learned about the concept of "youth mental health hubs" — physical spaces providing first aid and information, recreational activities, and community for youths and adolescents struggling with their mental health and/or dealing with a mental illness.

Life has a way of taking us on unexpected journeys, and sometimes those seemingly insignificant detours can shape our future in profound ways. Working in a coffee house during your early twenties may not seem like a pivotal moment, but it has certainly been for me.

We want to raise awareness, de-stigmatise conversations around mental illness, and reiterate that our mental health is something we should all be thinking about and taking care of.
