Introducing ON THE MOVE™
Every year in May, the Mental Health Foundation is organising the Mental Health Awareness Week. This year’s topic: “Movement — moving more for our mental health”.
This year’s topic inspired us to launch our first ever offline campaign, focused on empowering you to incorporate more movement into your daily life. ON THE MOVE™ is intended to highlight the importance of daily movement and get moving together.
WHY MOVEMENT MATTERS
I am sure you are aware of the positive effects of movement and you have felt the “happiness hormones”, or endorphins, being released when you have worked out. Research shows that regular physical activity can significantly improve mental health by reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, boosting mood, and enhancing overall well-being. Whether it’s a calming yoga session, a game of beach volleyball, or a run — moving your body can make a huge difference in how you feel.

To kick off ON THE MOVE™, we are hosting a series of in-person events designed to get you moving and having fun. Are you based in Berlin, Germany? Then we would love to welcome you to these first events!

Morning yoga — 09 June 2024
